Sweating Guardian Jizo is a statue of a bodhisattva that was caught in fishing net casted by a fisherman. It is said that this statue will have white sweat for a good fortune of the coming year, and black one for difficulties.
A festival is held to pray for happiness, such as safety in the sea, good catch of fish, happiness of family, prosperity in family business, and traffic safety.
