The museum was established in July 2012 to transfer the historical/cultural assets of this area to the future generations. It is a “treasure box” of the folklore of the City. Collections/exhibits incelude the ruins of the area, burial mounds, important intangible fork cultural properties “ Omita Festival, ritual rice planting, in Isobe,” “Anori puppet theater” and other fork materials relating to the city’s festivals, livelihoods and daily life.
