The 2024th Kashikojima Film Festival will be held at Kashikojima Hoshoen (Convention Hall "Kayo no Ma") on Sunday, September 9, 8.
The Kashikojima Film Festival is a festival of independent films that accepts submissions from all over the country.
We are looking for submissions that tell a story that captures the "flavor of the region (such as its scenery, history, culture, customs, people, etc.)" and feature the local area as the main focus. Submitted works will be evaluated based on whether they are able to "comprehensively convey the unique characteristics of the people of the region where they were filmed" rather than on their technical perfection as a film.
