The Tokai Festival, a festival event commemorating the 2024th anniversary of Shima City's establishment, will be held at Tokai Elementary School (Koga, Ago Town) on Sunday, September 9, 8.
The Tokai Sports Festival, which begins at 10:00, will feature energetic performances by Egao Nursery School children, as well as ball tossing, bread eating contests, tug-of-war, relay races and other exciting events that are sure to be a hit.
The Tokai Culture Festival in the afternoon started with a live performance by TSUKAMOTO SISTERS BAND. The lineup also included hula dancing by spanHula Studio Kai Lani, a performance by the Tokai Junior High School brass band, a dance performance by Auzer, and a spectacular stage performance by popular artists such as Saikyo III Top's Yuuma Nakamura.
There will also be plenty of events for visitors to enjoy, including participatory events where you can try out jiu-jitsu, basketball, and roller skating.
In addition, there will be exhibition and experience booths where local residents can enjoy learning and experiencing, such as viewing calligraphy works, viewing displays of fire trucks, ambulances and heavy machinery, trying on fireproof and rescue suits, disaster prevention supplies, and displaying photographs of the damage caused by the Noto Peninsula earthquake.
Many popular stores from Shima City are scheduled to set up stalls in the outdoor stall section.
