The 2025th Eejanka Festival will be held at the Ago Arena special venue on Saturday, October 9, 27.
This is a relatively new festival that was founded in 1995 with the hopes of praying for a good harvest, good catches, and safety, and for continued prosperity.
There will also be a dance contest set to the Eejanka music, a fireworks display, food and drink areas, and a festival area, so everyone from children to the elderly can have fun.
Every year, local children are asked to design posters for the next year, as a summer holiday assignment, and visitors to the festival then vote for them during the event, making this a festival that has attracted attention as a citizen-participation type of event.
