The annual walking event, the 2025th Ise-Shima Two-Day Walk, will be held on Saturday, October 10th and Sunday, October 18th, 19.

What is the Ise-Shima Two-Day Walk?

As a measure to revitalize the region through the promotion of sports tourism, this is a festival of sports exchange where people of all ages can meet and enjoy walking while experiencing the scenic Ise-Shima Satoumi, created by one of Japan's leading ria coastlines, the natural landscape, and the history and culture of the many historic sites that remain.The event also aims to promote the health of citizens of Ise-Shima, including the host city of Shima, and raises awareness of health through walking, and supports health initiatives for children and other generations, as well as interactions between people from both within and outside the city.

Qualification

Anyone who is healthy can participate. However, elementary school students and younger must be accompanied by a parent/guardian (fees apply), and those who require assistance must be accompanied by a caregiver (fees apply).

What you should bring

Lunch, water bottle, personal cup, hat, rain gear, health insurance card (copy), etc.

Else

• In principle, the event will be held even in the case of rain. (It will be canceled if a warning is issued.)
• Participants should look at the course map, walk at their own speed and pace, and finish by 17:00 (13:16 on the 00th).
• Please refrain from smoking while walking. Also, please take your trash home with you. We ask for your cooperation in observing proper etiquette.
• Please follow the traffic rules when walking. Also, be careful of narrow areas of the sidewalk and other pedestrians and cyclists, and do not walk too wide.
• Please note that the rights to depictions and portraits of any footage, photographs, articles, etc. taken during the tournament for television, newspapers, magazines, the internet, etc. belong to the organizers.
• This is a walking event. Please note that jogging and running are not permitted.
• Please refrain from bringing pets with you to the event, with the exception of guide dogs, assistance dogs, and hearing dogs.

Shima Marineland Parking Lot (Main Venue)

About 2 minutes walk from Kintetsu "Kashikojima" station.

[By car]

The parking lot is about 167 minutes away from Toba Minami Shiraki IC via National Route 30 Gosen.

-There is a limit to the number of cars that can be parked, so you may not be able to park on the day.
