The annual walking event, the 2024th Ise-Shima Two-Day Walk, will be held on Saturday, October 10th and Sunday, October 12th, 13.
As a measure to revitalize the region through the promotion of sports tourism, this is a festival of sports exchange where participants can experience the scenic Ise-Shima Satoumi created by one of Japan's leading ria coasts, the natural landscape, and the historical culture with many historical sites, while meeting and enjoying interactions with friends across generations. It also aims to promote the health of the citizens of Ise-Shima, including the host city of Shima,WalkingThis event aims to raise health awareness through health promotion, support health initiatives of all generations, including children, and encourage interaction between people both inside and outside the city.
