On Saturday, November 2024, 11, the Shima City Fire Department will host the Shima City Fire Festival 9, an experiential event aimed at raising children's disaster prevention awareness.
At this event, you can experience the firefighting training that Shima City's firefighters regularly conduct to save lives, such as "cliff climbing experience," "rope crossing experience," and "cardiopulmonary resuscitation experience."
Other attractions include a brass band performance by Isobe Tokai Junior High School and an earthquake simulation vehicle.
There will also be attractive outdoor stalls selling "fried chicken" and "yakisoba". The first 800 visitors will receive a commemorative gift!
