61st Ise Shrimp Festival

The 2024st Ise Shrimp Festival will be held on Saturday, June 6, 1 at Hamajima Seaside Park for the first time in about a year.

The biggest event of the event is the Jakoppe Odori, in which over 30 Jakoppé troupes dance while wearing elegant and colorful festival costumes, attracting participants not only from within the city but also from outside the city and prefecture. It is becoming one of the largest dance festivals in Japan.

There will also be a merchandise market selling Shima's special products, as well as attractive stalls selling dishes such as spiny lobster longevity soup.
