We are conveniently located just a XNUMX-minute drive from the Spain Village. On nights with fireworks, you can enjoy dinner after the show (starting at XNUMX:XNUMX), and from October, you can savor the delicious Matoya oysters (Oyster Full Course available from November to the end of March). We also offer great deals on nearby tourist attractions.

The owners

Our ryokan is nestled beneath the Matoya Ohashi Bridge in Shima City, Mie Prefecture. We take pride in offering a culinary experience that highlights the Mie Brand "Matoya oysters" and a variety of fresh locally-caught seafood such as Ise lobsters and abalone from Shima City.

We are pleased to accommodate guests for lunch and dinner in addition to your stay. However, please note that during the oyster season, our restaurant tends to be very busy, so we kindly request that you make reservations in advance. If you happen to visit without a reservation, we may not be able to accommodate your request.

We use natural mica stone in our baths.
While soaking in the tub, you can enjoy a view of the sea, creating a sense of being immersed in the ocean.
Depending on the season, you can also witness the morning sun rising over the mountains beyond Matoya Bay.
Please note that bathing is not available from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

• There is an entrance to Marusei Ryokan directly on the North River (Toba side) of the Pearl Road Matoya Bay Bridge. From the sign, a sharp curve and steep slope continues for 600m.
• On the way, there are several places where it is difficult to turn around. In such cases, please call Marusada Ryokan (TEL: 0599-57-2248) from in front of the sign. We will let you know if there is an oncoming car.
