Katada Inari Shrine

The masterpiece is all on the ceiling

Inari Shrine is worshipped as the god of fishery. It is famous for its 48 lattice-paneled ceilings painted by Nomura Mansai and his disciples.

Access: Public Transportation: 30 minutes by bus bound for Goza from Kintetsu Ugata Station, alight at Katada Inari-mae bus stop, and walk shortly.
