There is a rest house in the Yokoyama Forest of Creation in the middle of Yokoyama, and several
walking trails are maintained from the rest house to the top of the mountain.
Yokoyama is famous for its cherry blossoms, and the Yokoyama Cherry Blossom Festival (held on the
last Sunday in March and the first Sunday in April) attracting many visitors from within and outside of
the prefecture.
The route from the boardwalk to the observatory takes about 30 minutes while enjoying the
abundant nature.
